As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
I’m Shehroze, a photographer and designer based in High Wycombe. From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to the arts—starting with sketching in primary school to exploring graphic design during my GCSEs. Over the years, my understanding of art, colour, and photography has grown and continues to evolve.
Photography runs in my family;
My grandfather and mother both shared this passion, and it seems to have been passed down to me. However, after university, I found myself losing the drive to pursue it. Without purpose, I decided to set my camera aside.
That changed while I was studying the sacred sciences. I came across a profound hadith:
These words reignited my passion and gave my work meaning. I picked up a camera again, this time with a renewed sense of purpose: to capture and reflect the beauty that Allah has placed in His creation. From family to teachers, local residents, landscapes, architecture, and even my cat (who’s probably my most-photographed subject!), I aim to showcase the beauty that surrounds us.
I am deeply grateful to the teachers who have guided and inspired me on this journey, both spiritually and creatively.
A special thank you to
Their wisdom, teachings, and support have profoundly influenced not only my outlook on life but also the way I perceive and capture beauty.
I also draw creative inspiration from individuals like Mustafa Davis and Peter Sanders, who have set a standard for excellence in merging art with spirituality.
My ultimate goal is to show the world—and my community—that Islam is beautiful, and beauty resides within each of us. I mainly dedicate my services to causes I believe in which are committed to supporting and uplifting our community.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope my work resonates with you.
